  • sighnight is an exploration of the lengths to which individuals will go to preserve familial honour. It is a story of survival, control, and the bonds that tether us to our roots, even as we strive to break free.

  • Following the birth of her niece, Jing returns to Singapore for the newborn’s full month celebration. Here she is forced to confront her contentious relationship with her estranged mother and a traditional family politic—the causes of her departure a decade prior.

  • A non-religious Chinese family of seven gets together for a Christmas lunch. Eunice, the main character, is challenged with self-worth and the image of her family. Through her kindest intentions, she tries her best to overcome situations birthed by this dysfunctional family, which forces her to come out of her reserved shell and become a new version of herself.

  • Siti prepares her son, Aqil, for an autism assessment, dismissing his behaviours as mere bed bug troubles. Caught between familial pressures and her pride, Siti finally breaks when she finds Aqil hiding bugs in his toy. Siti eventually realises Aqil’s capacity for empathy, and finally confronts Aqil's future head-on.
